We are excited to invite you to join Nikki Grant of Solomons Alpacas for a talk and workshop where you will explore the sustainable farming and properties of pedigree alpaca fibre and yarns. https://solomonsalpacas.co.uk/

Five years ago my husband Jon and I (Nikki), having tired of the rat race and life in the city decided to buy a piece of land for weekend picnics and summer evening BBQs. We were looking for an acre or so, with a stream and a tree so I could have a hammock.

During our four year search for the right place, we viewed the home of a local alpaca breeder. One of his females was extremely friendly and followed us all over the plot, nibbling my ears: I was smitten. I promised myself that when we got our land, we would have a few alpacas; they could keep the grass down for us; it sort of got out of hand!!
