Southampton four piece Skinny Bob are set to release their long-awaited debut album, Bastard Planet, this December. Known for their raucous live shows and infectious anthems, the band are ready to take their sound beyond the south coast and onto a bigger stage.
Since forming several years ago, Skinny Bob have dropped five singles that have earned them a loyal following across the south of England. Their music is loud, original, soulful, and always fun—packed with the kind of choruses that make crowds sing along and stages bounce.
With Bastard Planet, the band capture the essence of their live performances in the studio: an eclectic mix of comedy, topical events, personal experiences, and the downright daft.
“Playing live is where we come alive, but we’re buzzing for people to hear this album,” says the band. “It’s Skinny Bob in all our weird and wonderful forms, bottled up and ready to explode.”
Skinny Bob are gearing up for a run of live shows to celebrate the album’s release—dates to be announced soon.
For fans of unapologetic genre-bending anthems that don’t take themselves too seriously, Bastard Planet is the album to watch.
Supporting on the night will be
BEEF
