Join us for a fun weekend of fellowship, shenanigans, and hiking in Kentucky's beautiful Red River Gorge. Bring a friend, children welcome.
FRIDAY GAME NIGHT:
The fun kicks off at 7pm with a game night held at Highpoint Apostolic Church in Winchester, KY. Bring your own take-out, snacks, and favorite drinks. Coffee and water will be provided. SATURDAY MORNING HIKE:
We'll meet at Natural Bridge State Park at 11am on Saturday for a hike. If you don't feel like hiking or have limited mobility, there is a skylift you can ride to the top of Natural Bridge. Roundtrip tickets are $17 and one-way $11. Entrance to the state park is free. Park address: 2135 Natural Bridge Rd, Slade, KY 40376
SATURDAY LUNCH:
After our hike, we will have lunch at the iconic Miguel's Pizza, probably around 2pm. The pizza is tasty and affordable, the service is quick, and they have a ton of outdoor seating. Address: 1890 Natural Bridge Rd, Slade, KY 40376
SATURDAY AFTERNOON HIKE:
Those of us who wish to continue hiking will explore a few of the other arches and features in Red River Gorge. Some suggestions are: Rock Bridge and Creation Falls, Sky Bridge, Angel Windows, and Whistling Arch. This is just a small sampling of all there is to see in RRG.
