About the event

Dundas County Players & A Bunch of People Arts and Events Present a Double Feature!
Dundas County Players & A Bunch of People Arts and Events Present a Double Feature! Erik Hutten’s Debut Play, Family Time, and A True Stories Sampler Winchester, ON – Old Town Hall
For ONE NIGHT ONLY, catch this performance on Saturday, Nov. 1st at 7:30 pm.
Enjoy a special treat, as we unveil our original one act play, Family Time, ahead of its debut at the Eastern Ontario Drama League One Act Festival in Merrickville this Fall. Family Time is a heartfelt comedy about a young couple hosting their family at Christmas. Comedy ensues as secrets are shared, too many glasses of wine are consumed, and the truth about their relationships unravels in surprising twists. It is a play about Love, Honesty, and what matters most, Family. Written and directed by Erik Hutten, stage managed and designed by Sandra McNeill, and starring Maggie Papadimas as Laura, Shawn Mason as Ethan, Shannon Clarke as Patricia, Rick Ventrella as Harold, Shaelynn Poulin as Chantal, and Clinton St. Louis as Daniel.
After a whirlwind of drama and comedy, with characters that’ll make you think you’re getting a glimpse into your neighbour’s kitchen party on the holidays, buckle up for some real-life stories and music, delivered by the people that lived them. True Stories is all about real people, real stories and beautiful sound. Originally created and presented by A Bunch of People Arts and Events, a small sample of dramatic performances will be presented as our second act of the night. Step into a powerful evening where true-life tales are brought to life through the raw beauty of live music, dramatization, and breaking the fourth wall. Featuring Emily Ramsdale, Norman MacQueen, Sandra MacNeill, and Harmony Koiter as storytellers, with Pat Clark, Rick Ventrella, and Richard Bellefeuille as musicians. Set in the historic charm of Winchester’s Old Town Hall, this event is more than just a show — it’s a gathering. A celebration of our community’s voices, talents, and shared truths. And every ticket supports local charity, House of Lazarus.
This is a pay-what-you-can event. First come, first served.
All proceeds will support the House of Lazarus directly.
We look forward to seeing you at the show.
