"Center Stage"

This concert will highlight songs from the stages of some famous operas and Broadway musicals many, of which, have been made into movies as well.

The musical journey will take you through some classics including Voyagers’ Chorus (from Idomeneo), Chorus of the Hebrew Slaves (from Nabucco), My Funny Valentine (from Babes in Arms), Over the Rainbow (from the Wizard of Oz), Make Our Garden Grow (from Candide), West Side Story Chorale Medley (from West Side Story), Ain’t Misbehavin’ (from Ain’t Misbehavin’), Seasons of Love (from Rent) and many more.

We have two guest high school choirs joining us for this concert: Sherando High School, under the direction of Pam Keim, will join us on Friday, May 16th, and John Handley High School, under the direction of Gloria Law, will join us on Sunday, May 18th.

Performance dates are Friday, May 16th, at 7:00 p.m. at Grace Evangelical Church and on Sunday, May 18th, at 3:00 p.m. at Armstrong Concert Hall.

Tickets are $20 for adults and $18 for seniors/students. Children under 12 are free. Tickets may be purchased online (www.artschoralewinchester.org), from a choir member, or at the door.
