American Woodmark Fireworks Display

The American Woodmark fireworks display offers something for everyone. Walk from the Old Town Midway and along the firefighter’s parade route to Handley High School campus, find a perfect spot on the lawn and watch the American Woodmark fireworks show!

People will begin to arrive and start spreading their blankets out on the ground in the early Friday afternoon. With anticipation of watching the incredible fireworks show at dusk.

As the crowd gathers during the afternoon and evening vendors will offer various food items in the mini-midway as well as other souvenirs.

The fireworks display itself is a little over 20 minutes long and a soundtrack of pop, rock and country music runs throughout the show. It is very modern with multiple unusual special effects not seen at traditional fireworks shows.

The tight, urban location prohibits high altitude effects. Most of the show is under 200 feet and is best viewed from the ground level, on site at John Handley High School.
