250th Anniversary of the Settling of Kentucky

Commemorating the founding of Boonesborough in 1775 Fort Boonesborough Foundation and Fort Boonesborough State Park will host a two day event June 7,8,2025, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. each day near the Kentucky River. There will daily portrayals of Boonesborough “Firsts”, demonstrations, speakers, authors and book signings, re-enactor camp by the Kentucky River and original fort site. Period vendors and music. FREE ADMISSION ! Food trucks available, free shuttle available to the replica Fort open daily 9 a.m-4:45 p.m. with regular admission Adults $8.00, Children 6-12 $5.00, children 5 and under free.
