I Can't Believe Nothing Happened!

Well, after extensive hours of research (well, 5 minutes on Wikipedia, to be honest) I have come to the conclusion that nothing happened on 18th August in any year since time began that we want to commemorate at ICBINAFC. Not unless you want to commemorate the first Spanish grammar book being delivered to Queen Isabella in 1492. But I'm pretty sure something else happened that year anyway. Can't think what.

It is the feast day of St. Agapitus of Palestrina and St Daig of Inniskeen.

Several people were born and a number died, but nobody I'd heard of. So I guess we'll just be celebrating the music we make and the friends we spend time with, and what could be more important than that?

So do come along on Monday 18th August to the Oddfellows Arms and we'll have a grand old time.
