Shady Llama Friday Morning Hike (7/25)

We’re excited to welcome you on a guided hike through our neighboring property. We have improved our llama paths to create a ½ mile loop that gives you a llama’s eye view of our mostly untouched hill country ranch land. The hike is full of hill country scenery with the opportunity to learn about our native plants and terrain.

This is a strenuous hike with several elevation changes and the possibility of encountering our free-range llamas and miniature donkeys. It is not stroller or wheelchair accessible. For the safety of our livestock, no dogs or pets of any kind will be allowed on the hiking trail. Athletic or hiking shoes are recommended and hiking poles can be helpful on inclines. While a large portion of the trail is shaded, we recommend sun protection and bug spray. Water will be available for purchase, or you can bring your own water bottle and fill up at the bar. You can also purchase a “hike beer” to take along with you. All participants are required to sign a waiver prior to the start of the hike. (A link will be emailed to you.) Hike groups are limited to 15 people. Sign-up for a free ticket on Eventbrite to guarantee your spot. Walk-ins will be allowed if the hike is not full.
