From a March to a Samba: Choral Greats

Join the Laurence Singers with the Sterling Wind Trio for an evening of powerful and uplifting choral music, taking you on a journey from Verdi’s triumphant Aida and Mozart’s moving Lacrimosa through to Borodin’s vibrant Polovtsian Dances.

The second half brings a lighter mood, with John Rutter’s playful arrangement of Sourwood Mountain, Karl Jenkins’ mesmerising Adiemus, and the rousing Do You Hear the People Sing? from Les Misérables. We’ll also feature Eric Whitacre’s beautifully reflective Sing Gently and end on a high with Guy Turner’s lively Tequila Samba.
