Boo! For October we are running three curated one-shots from Jordan. They all are a bit spooky and we're hoping to have lots of hype for the Halloween season. Folks are welcome to sign-up for one, two, or all three one-shots! For a full run down of each one shot you can read the blurbs below!
Dread - 10/13
Monday the Thirteenth!
Dread is a rules-light Horror RPG. Instead of dice, it uses a Jenga set to determine the outcome of difficult actions. If the stack falls, the character run by the player who pulled the last block is removed from the game.
Welcome to Camp Silver Oak counselors! Over the next couple of days we'll spend some time getting to know the camp, getting to know each other, and learning the ropes before the kids get here. Why don't you take some time to explore the camp, check out the lake, but make sure you're back in time for songs and s'mores! Also, whatever you do, never go into the woods at night. Who knows what could be out there waiting...
The Zone - 10/20
THE ZONE is a journey into a place of beauty and horror, inspired by Annihilation, Stalker, and the SCP Foundation. This is a game where you play-to-lose, knowing that your fate was already decided at the start. Only one of you will make it, but every single one of you will be pushed to the brink of your capacities.
Wracked with phobias & obsessions take your characters on a one-way trip into a dangerous place known as the Zone. The journey goes like this: first, generate a Zone, create doomed characters, answer prompts full of beauty and horror, mutate your friends, and finally, meet your fates until only one of you survives.
Kids on Bikes 10/27
Kids on Bikes is a Collaborative World Building RPG set in small towns with big mysteries. Where players take on the roles of small town heroes facing big adventure.
Grab your best costume and a bag for your candy! It's Halloween Night in 1986! But watch out, I heard there's bullies cruising the streets looking for some candy to steal! Getting your candy stolen is probably the worst thing that could happen to a kid on Halloween....right?
