Sleeping Bird Coffee Adventure Run

Runners love coffee and beer, so why not join me for the inaugural Sleeping Bird Coffee Adventure Run through the Brandywine area, and Alapocas State Park.

As many of you know, my daughter and her husband own Sleeping Bird Coffee and Sleeping Bird Doughnuts in Wilmington, Delaware. Several of you have asked about an adventure run starting from the café—so here it is!

We’ll begin at Sleeping Bird Coffee and head out for an easy 4–6 mile run through the scenic trails of Brandywine and Alapocas State Parks. Afterward, we’ll return to the café to refuel with coffee and meet the owners. I’ll also bring along fresh doughnuts from their other location to enjoy together.

Once we’re properly caffeinated, we can keep the fun going next door with a post-run beer at Wilmington Brew Works.
