How does painter Joanne Geisel capture our local landscapes? Join Art in Bloom’s class, “Painting the Coastal Landscape” to learn from the artist herself! Our coastal scenery is stunning with expansive skies, extraordinary colors, memorable cloud formations, rolling oceans, and peaceful marshes. In this workshop we will paint from photos of the local landscape and at the same time clarify and develop the skills of successful paintings like composition, values, shapes, line, edges and color.

The instructor will give group and individual instruction, and demonstrations which will be in oil. This workshop is designed for oil and acrylic painters at all levels.

This class will meet at 10am – 2pm each day between Thursday, September 25 – Saturday, September 27th. Though Joanne will demonstrate in oil, this workshop is designed for oil and acrylic painters of all levels! Tuition for the class is $260.
