Sealed Events
Entry Fee: $30
Format: Sealed, Swiss Rounds (Capped at Three Rounds)
Prizes: Pack per Win (guaranteed pack)
Each player will receive a kit that will contain 6 Play Boosters, 1 foil stamped Rare or Mythic, and 1 Spindown die. Players will build a 40 card deck out of their sealed pool and then battle it out for 3 rounds.
Commander Box League
Entry Fee: Purchase of Spider-man Play Booster Box + $8
Format: Sealed Commander, 3-4 person pods
Prizes: 1 Buy-a-Box Promo, 1 Commander promo (previously called commander party promos), winner receives 1 random promo from commander shoe.
Players purchase a Play Booster box as part of entry. They must check in with the tournament host prior to building their deck, but must have it ready by 6:30PM. Games are played with normal Commander rules, but deck building follows modified rules for Commander Box League.
Commander Box League Deck Rules
After players open their Play Booster box, they construct a 60-card Commander deck from the contents. Buy-a-Box and Commander promos may not be used in deck building.
- Decks may include multiple copies of cards opened from the Play Booster.
- Any legal commander opened is allowed.
- Color identity rules in deck building are ignored; players may build decks with any colors they want, regardless of their commander's color identity. Note: commander color identity still applies when cards refer to color identity (for example, with Arcane Signet).
Players may adjust their decks between games using cards from their Play Booster box.
Normal Commander rules apply for gameplay in these events (e.g., 40 starting life, commander damage tracking, etc.).
