MEETING NOTICE
The November meeting of MIFDI will be held on Wednesday, November 19, 2025 hosted by the Wilmington Fire Department courtesy of Chief William Cavanaugh. (NOTE: THIS IS THE THIRD WEDNESDAY). We will meet in the Training Room of the Wilmington Public Safety Building, #1 Adelaide St @ Church St. (Rt.62). There is ample parking behind the station. We last met in
Wilmington for our May 2022 meeting.
The training will be provided by representatives from Bergeron Protective Clothing & Equipment. They will have a presentation on the important topic of SCBA Compressor fill stations and what is the best option for departments, fixed or mobile? It is best to have both for versatility and redundancy if possible.
Also, are your fill stations properly serviced each year and is the air intake filter clear and clean to ensure that the quality of air being provided for fill your SCBA is safe complying with NFPA 1901. Bergeron is also a local distributer for the Arctic Air SCBA Compressor Trailer and will cover the advantages of this mobile unit with the compressor operated by battery to ensure that exhaust is not contaminating the storage tank air.

DIRECTIONS:
From Rt. I-495; Take Rt. I-93 South to Exit 34 (Rt.62), turn left at the top of the ramp, follow Rt. 62 aprox 2-miles and the station will be on the right.
From I-95/Rt.128; Take Rt.I-93 North (Exit 37B), follow I-93 to Exit 38 (Rt.129), turn right at the top of the ramp onto Rt.129. Rt.129 will merge onto Rt.38. Follow Rt.38 a short distance to Rt. 62. Turn right onto Rt.62 and the station will be on your left.
