Ceremony to Connect to Land and Community
There is a beautiful energy vortex in Halyburton park. This spot is a circle of trees with a soft basin in the middle. Each of the trees represents a role in a family. Each is part of a whole. 🌳 This land presents an opportunity to connect with divinity, the sacred space within ourselves, our families, and our communities.
I’ve been coming here to meditate for almost 2 years and I’m excited to invite community here to experience the connection as well. 🕊️
Where: Park in the front of the Halyburton Events Center. Take the paved path to the left. Walk until you see signs on your right. You’ll see the meeting spot from this pathway. It’s about a minute walk on non-paved trail.
(Note- this path is different than the previous path through the woods! It’s easier to navigate. Although I always encourage an enchanted walk through the woods if you remember the way 😍)
When: Arrive at 10am. Ceremony will begin shortly after
(Earlier than previous because the warm weather is coming in 🔥)
What: Ceremony focused on our connection to the land and our community. Will include some time for reflection, community share, meditation, and singing.
Bring your noise makers - rattles, drums, etc. I will provide shakers for all who would like one. I will also provide printouts of the songs.
Bring a blanket or chair to sit on, and some water. Feel free to bring an offering to the land- herbs, water, anything biodegradable. I will have some herbs we can offer.
You do not have to be a *good* singer. You just have to be authentic! The mycelium benefit from the vibration and frequency, not the *goodness* of your vocals.
