Come join us cleaning up on HWY 421 at Cape Fear Catamarans of the Southeast! This location is on the way to the New Hanover County Landfill and is in desperate need of a cleanup. When trash is not tied down properly, this can cause debris to be strewn on the road way. This is not only bad for the environment, but can also be a hazard for motorists.
Since 2020, Plastic Ocean Project has removed 12,136.56 pounds of trash from this stretch of Highway 421!
