"The Opposite Show" – Exploring Duality

Theme:
We invite artists to submit work for The Opposite Show, an exhibition exploring the theme of opposites and duality. From Night vs Day to Up vs Down, we are seeking pieces that engage with the contrasts that define our world. Interpretations can be literal, symbolic, conceptual, or emotional — the only requirement is that your piece clearly represents a pairing of opposites.

Location: Event Center Gallery
Exhibition Dates: [July 8th- August 4th ]
Dropoff Dates: [July 1, 2, 5th 11:30-5:30, July 3rd 11:30-7:30]
Opening Reception: [July 11th 7-9pm]
Submission Guidelines:
All submissions must explore a clear pairing or grouping of opposites. Artists may express this duality within a single piece or through a diptych presented as one cohesive entry.
Work must be exhibition-ready.
2D work: Wired and ready to hang.
All sizes and mediums welcome.
No categories — all submissions will be considered together.
One Best Overall award will be given and 1st, 2nd, and 3rd.
Fees:
1 entry = $15
2-3 entries = $30
4 entries = $40
5 entries = $50

Medium:
This juried exhibition is open to all mediums including (but not limited to) painting, sculpture, photography, mixed media, digital art, textile, and installation.
