Community Eco-Fair

Mark your calendars! In recognition of National Preparedness Month and Climate Preparedness Week, the library is hosting an outdoor, community eco-fair.

The theme is sustainability, and we'll have tables hosted by many Berkshire organizations, food on offer, live music, games from our "Thingdom" and other kids' activities, including a bouncy house and a seed bomb craft table. You can learn about everything from how to recycle your mattress, to where to go mountain biking, to updates on the progress of new green buildings in Williamstown - including the Fire Department!

Also - numerous town departments will have tips on what to do in an emergency, such as what to have on hand in a "Go Bag," and electric vehicle owners will show off their cars and be available to talk about their cool features.

Please join in as we raise awareness about our changing climate and the environment, and celebrate the many groups working towards social, economic and environmental sustainability.
