Choral Mattins

Once this fall and once in the spring we’ll be doing something new (or quite old, really). Instead of celebrating the Eucharist at our 10 o’clock service, we will hold a service of Choral Mattins. This was the norm for many Episcopalians most Sundays before the “new” Prayerbook was published in 1979. While it is a great gift that weekly communion is now the norm, the downside is that few have experienced Morning Prayer with full choir and congregation.

Note: Eucharist will still be celebrated at the 8 o’clock service. We hope you will enjoy this opportunity to experience a jewel of the Anglican liturgical tradition.
