Murmurations and Tossing Chairs at Otto Bookstore
Feeling. Connection. Depth. People. In. Real. Life. … In celebration of the recent publication of “Tossing Chairs” by K. Uwe Dunn/Matthew Parrish in The Gramercy Review, a New York City-based online literary journal, Dunn and Studio Door 9 founder, instructor and writer Angela Nichols will read selections from their work at 4 pm. Saturday, September 13th at Otto Bookstore.
K. Uwe Dunn is a former newspaper editor who has turned his investigative energy toward the field of healthcare. His patient profiles and stories have been featured in The Northern Virginia Review, The Petigru Review, and Kestrel: A Journal of Literature and Art, among other publications. He is fluent in the German language, has a master of fine arts degree in painting, and lives in rural Pennsylvania with his wife, Liz.
Angela Nichols is a nonfiction writer. Her writing has appeared in BOOM Magazine, her hand-painted photography in The Great Stream Review, and portraits documenting chronic illness in the pages of Abandon Journal. Angela is the founder of Studio Door 9, a writing salon, where she has taught writing workshops since 2015.
