When novelist Charles Condomine invites the eccentric medium Madame Arcati to conduct a séance as research for his next book, he doesn’t expect her to actually summon a spirit — let alone the ghost of his late (and delightfully mischievous) first wife, Elvira.

Now stuck in a supernatural love triangle, Charles must deal with Elvira’s ghostly meddling, his current wife Ruth’s growing suspicions, and a medium who’s more jazz hands than Jedi.
