A First Friday Local Author Event: Meet Michael Miele

Get ready to meet the mind behind the dragons! On Friday, August 1 from 5 to 7pm, local author Michael Miele will be at the Otto Bookstore for a signing of his debut short story collection, Tales of Scales.

Born and raised in Williamsport, Michael has a deep love for storytelling, especially when it involves dragons, talking animals, or the kinds of magical twists that make you grin halfway through a sentence. Tales of Scales features ten stories, each with its own take on dragon life — some heartwarming, some wild, all wildly creative.

When he’s not writing, Michael can be found painting, playing volleyball, or tucked away somewhere with a board game and good company. Come say hello, grab a signed copy, and support a hometown author who’s bringing fresh imagination to the local scene.
