The Forgotten Yellow: Rediscovering Patent Yellow Pigment at Colonial Williamsburg

Join Kirsten Moffitt, Senior Conservator and Materials Analyst on Monday August 11 at 1pm to learn more about Patent Yellow - a brilliant yellow pigment used for a brief window of time in the 18th and early 19th centuries. This once very popular yellow has been rediscovered through analysis at Colonial Williamsburg in collaboration with the Smithsonian Museum of Natural History and the University of Delaware.
