Storybook Hour

On Tuesday mornings, bring your young artist and meet us in the galleries for a read-aloud story hour and activity! Hear books themed around artmaking and museums, then create art inspired by each day’s picture book selection.

This week’s pick is "Tar Beach" by Faith Ringgold. Following the story, we’ll imagine our own flying dream journey and create it in oil pastel and collage.

Best suited for ages 3-6 with adult companion. No registration is necessary.
