Settlement Claim Help Drop-In: First Nations Child and Family Services & Jordan’s Principle

Need help with your First Nations Child and Family Services or Jordan’s Principle Settlement claim? Drop in for assistance with applications for the Removed Child and Removed Child Family Classes. Supports will be available and everyone is welcome.

Who May Be Eligible

Removed Child Class

First Nations individuals who were removed from their homes as children (under the age of majority) by Child Welfare Authorities between April 1, 1991 – March 31, 2022, while they or their caregiving parent/grandparent lived on reserve or in the Yukon.

Removed Child Family Class

Immediate family members (parents, grandparents, siblings) of a Removed Child, including Caregiving Parents or Grandparents who lived with and cared for the child at the time of removal.

We can help you understand eligibility and guide you through the application process.
