Dog Parkour Class

Next Parkour class starts June 14!

Canine Connection LLC was the first to offer Dog Parkour in the Springfield, Missouri area. Instructor, Cindy Ludwig is a Certified Professional Dog Trainer (CPDT-KA) and Karen Pryor Academy Certified Training Partner (KPA-CTP). She has completed instructor training with the IDPKA (International Dog Parkour Association). Instruction is based on the IDPKA philosophy, principles, training requirements, and safety requirements.

This class is a lot of fun, but it's important to understand the philosophy, principles, and safety requirements that are essential to safe participation in this dog sport.

This class will consist of 2 indoors training sessions to start, then a hybrid session outdoors, followed by 4 more outdoor sessions for a total of 7 weeks.

A well-fitted harness is required and a 4-6 foot standard, non-retractable leash. Choke chain collars, prong/pinch collars, e-collars/shock collars, and leash corrections are prohibited, in accordance with IDPKA rules.
