WEATHER DEPENDENT: Stargazing at Birdie's Observatory

Birdie's Observatory: 531 Washington St SE, Willamina:
enter through the front yard gate (under the carport) and proceed to the side yard around the house into the backyard where the observatory is located.

The Perseid Meteor shower peaked this week on 8/12. With any luck we can still see meteors.

Starting at sunset, bring any equipment you need to set up. Blankets and chairs are encouraged, but some are available. We will have a cooler with beverages. Bring any snacks you desire.

Stargazing is always weather permitting. Heat can also make stargazing less ideal.
