Friday, June 13th | 5 PM – End of Movie | Shelton Play Park at Cub Creek Park – Historic Downtown Wilkesboro

Join us for a special edition of Movies on Main in conjunction with the Shelton Play Park Celebration — an evening full of fun, music, and community as we celebrate the opening of Wilkesboro’s new inclusive and fully accessible playground at Cub Creek Park! 🎉🛝

This exciting evening kicks off at 5 PM with:

🎮 Games & music
🕺 A silent beats DJ party
📸 Photo booth fun
🌭 Food from The Hotdog Boy and the Wilkes Youth Life Development lemonade stand
✨ Special recognition of community partners from 6:00–6:30 PM

We’ll close out the celebration with a FREE outdoor movie screening of The Wild Robot — a heartwarming story based on the beloved book about a curious robot discovering what it means to belong. 🤖🌿💫

📍 Location: Shelton Play Park at Cub Creek Park, Downtown Wilkesboro
🕰 Time: Celebration begins at 5 PM, movie begins at sunset — come early to enjoy all the festivities!
🎟 Admission: Free for all ages
