Sunday Morning Church Service in the Park - Followed By Fellowship Lunch

REMINDER: church in the park this Sunday May 18th at 10:30. Please bring a lawnchair. dressing in layers could help in being comfortable. There will be a potluck immediately following. Our church will be bringing plates, silverware, napkins, and cups. Wilbur Community Church will be bringing drinks for us. This service will be slightly different as it is a melding of both churches' style. Reverend Steve and Dan and myself have done our best to make it acceptable and pleasing to the Lord and to our congregation members.

I would like to ask for prayer for this service. I pray that the weather be mild and pleasant. I pray that both congregations can come together under one God in unity of faith. I pray that the similarities of believers will be recognized and celebrated and the differences respected. I pray that we will do our best to reach out to the other congregation, sitting among them and having a sweet fellowship time. I ask you Lord for this public service to reach out to the community. I pray that your Holy Spirit draws people to you and to the service. May your name be glorified forever!
