Hannah Scott, our guest speaker, aka HJS Yoga, is a yoga and meditation teacher from Wigan, passionate about making yoga accessible and enjoyable for everyone. With a down-to-earth approach and a focus on inclusivity, Hannah believes yoga is about meeting yourself where you are: no matter your age, experience, or flexibility.

About the session:
An Introduction to Yoga: Beyond the Physical
In this session, we’ll explore what yoga truly is, a brief overview of its history and philosophy, and the many benefits it can offer: not just for the body, but for the mind and overall well-being. We’ll also talk about the ways in which yoga can (and should!) be adapted to suit you.
We’ll finish with a gentle chair yoga sequence and a short meditation, so you can experience some of yoga’s calming and grounding effects for yourself.
