Public Moves Opening Vienna

Dance for Free Across Vienna! Public Moves 2025, powered by Arbeiterkammer Wien, brings daily, free outdoor dance classes to seven locations across Vienna. The series kicks off with an opening event at the Museumsquartier, featuring two dance classes.

You can register for free online via the calendar ( https://www.impulstanz.com/calendar/publicmoves/#loc=47) or by phone at +43.1.523 55 58-19 from 11:00 AM on the day before the class.

Here's a look at the opening classes:

Silke Grabinger / HipHop Contemporary
B-girling meets contemporary performance technique! This long-time ImPulsTanz instructor from Linz, with her energetic and powerful style, encourages participants to develop their individual movement vocabulary – both alone and in a group. Her class focuses on technique, expression, and musicality.

German Jauregui / Contemporary Dance
After an introduction to fundamental and essential tools of contemporary dance, participants will focus on specific materials that help them apply this knowledge practically. This allows them to explore different dimensions of movement, deepen their understanding, and improve their ability to apply the tools in various contexts.
