What to Expect:
We invite you to to arrive a little before the scheduled start time to get settled in. This is a seated meditation group and we have blankets available for your comfort but you are welcome to bring your own if you prefer.
This is a guided meditation group where you will be gently guided through the practice, focusing on your breath, body sensations, sounds and visualizations.
This is an opportunity for self-care and to de-stress. Some of the proven meditation benefits include reduced stress, anxiety, and depression. This can facilitate a heightened sense of well-being and emotional self-control.
Physical benefits can include lowered blood pressure, improved heart function, and better sleep quality.
On a cognitive level, meditation has been shown (over time) to increase attention span, enhance focus, and improve working memory.
