Free Accessible Community Puffin Tour

This guided talk at the Dunnet Head Puffin Colony is absolutely free for members of the Caithness community. We will be using the accessibility ramp and provided binoculars at the viewpoint to look out over our Puffins. Rated 5 stars by tourists and locals alike, we want to provide the opportunity for those who want to to learn about how incredible the wildlife on our doorstep is. Learn a new appreciation for the natural wonders of Caithness that you can share with family, friends, and visitors alike.
Binoculars and ID guides will be provided and we will depart from Dunnet Head carpark at 7.30pm. The reason for the sunset tour is not just the beauty of Dunnet Head at sunset, but that this is the time when the most puffins are on display as they gather on the cliffs to socialise after a hard day's fishing.
