Wichita City Council Meetings

City Council meetings are open for the public to attend and speak in person inside Council Chambers at City Hall, 455 N. Main.

Those who wish to speak on the public agenda may visit wichita.gov/council to fill out a sign-up form and to review current council agenda items.

Meetings are held in Council Chambers at City Hall on 1st, 2nd, 3rd Tuesdays and generally begin at 9 a.m.

In order to make meetings more accessible, evening meetings are scheduled for the following dates beginning at 6 p.m.: March 18, June 3, August 7 and November 6.

Meetings are not held on certain Tuesdays:
- It falls on a holiday or
- Council will be at a conference

Council workshops are typically held the fourth Tuesdays at 9:00 a.m. in the City Hall first floor boardroom. At these workshop "study" sessions, the City Council has the opportunity to review and discuss important items, staff projects and future Council meeting agenda items
