The Sleepy Truckers with special guests Bob Hartley and Marc Westerman

The Hillcrest Concert Series welcomes to our front lawn The Sleepy Truckers (Vinnie, Ed, and Andrew with special guests Bob Hartley and Marc Westerman)!

When: Sunday evening, July 27 -- 6 p.m.

Where: 115 S. Rutan Ave., Wichita

Why: So many times, Cindy and I have remarked to each other, with Barney often alongside, "I never liked that song until The Truckers covered it" or "That arrangement is better than the original." Truly, they are arguably the best, long-running cover band in Wichita history.

How: Suggested donation at the event -- $20 per person. Remember: The Hillcrest Concert Series seeks to honor local, A-list talent with an appropriate remuneration.
