Somatics is like a homecoming, where we are re-introduced to our first home, our body, once again. Creating stronger mind-body connection, better posture and mobility, reducing anxiety and tension.

This workshop is an invitation to relax and unwind as Melody guides you through a sequence of slow mindful movements, while you lay on a yoga mat. Somatics is gentle and easy and empowers you to release pain, habituation, and stress from the body, while creating calm and stillness within the mind.

Focusing on the quality of movement and not the form, you will drop into the parasympathetic nervous system of rest and repair, creating space for holistic physical and emotional healing.

Somatics can release back pain, neck and shoulder pain and tension, sciatica, RSI, hip and knee pain or tension – any kind of muscular &/or nerve pain. People often feel lighter, more grounded, and at peace with a deeper sense of presence. Therefore, you can expect to feel very zen after the workshop and may want to rest.
