New Moon Star Party at Lake Whitney State Park

Join us under the New Moon for an unforgettable evening of stargazing with Larry Smith, a retired National Park Astronomy Ranger! Discover the night sky as we explore the constellations of Bootes, Cancer, Crater, Leo, and Virgo.

All ages welcome — perfect for families, friends, and space lovers!

*Cozy blanket or lawn chair (optional)
*Red Flashlight (optional)
*Binoculars (optional)
*Cell phone or camera to capture some memories

Don’t forget! Stop at Park Headquarters or use our self-pay kiosk to pay your entry fees before the star party.
