SIP & WEAVE - Monthly Friday Eve - Willow Garden Sculptures & Decorations

A monthly, Friday eve meet at The Workshop. A relaxing way to end the week by weaving something joyful from locally harvested willow.

Its an evening with friends, a special occasion, or just a couple of hours for you to get into the groove and weave with willow. The Workshop is a welcoming cosy space where you will meet like minded people on the 2 hour fun filled guided session. You will use traditional weaving techniques to make exquisite willow items for your home or your garden.
Each month is a different project, make it a regular meet and you will notice your skills improving.
September - Willow Sunflowers
October - Willow Mini Wreath/Door Handle Hanger/Candle Wreath with felting.
November - Christmas Decorations/Bunting
Ticket price comes with a glass of fizz on arrival.
You are also welcome to BYO. Glasses provided. If nibbles are required please do bring them along.

Suitable for beginners and those with experience.
16+ due to sharpe tools.
By bike, I have a yard to leave it in.
By metro, I am 5 mins walk between Cullercoats and Whitley Bay metro.
By car, there is a free 2hr car park 200m next to Boots the Chemist.
Non-permit street parking on Whitley Road 10m down from The Workshop. Also opposite to my shop, Alma Place, 1 min walk. Also, Grafton Road and Deleval Road, 3 mins walk.
