Pottery Class Tuesday Afternoons

Experience the Zen of creating functional works of art. In this class, students will learn the techniques for wheel-thrown and hand-built pottery from raw clay to finished vessel from an experienced, involved teacher.

Classes have participants of various ability from beginner to advanced. Therefore, instruction focuses on the processes of pottery and skill development. Learning is individualized to meet each student's goals.

Make ups for missed classes are allowed during open studio or by attending a different class and can be carried over to subsequent terms. Unlimited open studio is available for $100 per term.

Class fee is $425 which includes 25 pounds of clay, instruction, throwing, glazing and firing. You do not need to purchase any other supplies except an apron.
