Please note door money ALWAYS goes to the artists. We take a small fee (which we match) to help with show costs/sound and to encourage locals to promote their shows. This fee is waived for this night and for any touring bands/fundraisers/etc. If we could do shows for free we would and this is the ultimate end goal, but without funding for live music it is financially not feasible. Support local artists, support local venues, support your community WHEN YOU CAN, this is not an expectation to go to every show. Support the 98 Hotel. Support the Kopper King. Support venues that are not funded by the government because they need you. Book shows, play shows, attend shows, buy drinks (non booze included!), merch, music. Share events you can't go to. We are the community and only we can keep it alive. Cheers to another 3 years.
