Annual Walk of Memory #2

As promised, we are excited to announce our 2nd Walk of Memory!!!
So, come join us on our 2nd Annual walk as we walk/bike/run in memory of those we've lost and for those still suffering from Alzheimer's. The first 20 people to register will get a custom Walk of Memory shirt. This year the colors will be black and purple, making the shirts something people can wear on multiple occasions. Design for the shirts will be coming soon. This year is a tough year, as my grandmother Frances Mary Sandridge succumbed to Alzheimer’s on January 28th this year, but this will also be a great time to walk and remember her for myself and my family. We will use the same trail, and the paint branch trail is 3.10 miles long(a 5K). You can walk, bike, or run.

We will be meeting at Home Depot on Cherry Hill Road, College Park at exactly 10:30 am for those who don't know the way to the trail and pass out waters and shirts. Then Pastor Shea Watson of Greater Grace Community Church will be giving a message/pep talk prior to our walk for anyone interested in hearing a message of hope and peace. At 11 we will start. The entrance to the Paint Branch Trail is on Cherry Hill Road near the College Park Shopper and Home Depot. Look for the big wooden bridge at the entrance to the trail. Hope to see you there!
