Flash Monday January
Pot Holder Parade
In this class, we will be using the Potholder Parade pattern and focusing specifically on creating the round potholder included in the pattern. This fun, technique-based project is perfect for advanced beginners who want to strengthen their foundation in quilting, binding, and curved construction. Once you learn the methods taught in class, the remaining potholders in the pattern will come together easily using the same skills.
Participants will learn how to:
Cut bias binding for smooth, flexible edges
Sew and ease bias binding around a curve for a polished finish
Use a stiletto to keep seams even and achieve better control at the machine
By the end of class, students will have a beautifully constructed 8" round potholder and the confidence to make every version included in the Potholder Parade pattern.
