Seascapes Watercolour Workshop

Overview: This workshop is suitable for you whether you have some experience of watercolour and would like to explore new techniques, or are a total beginner. Minimal drawing required! The emphasis of the workshop is very much on play and experimentation. After a time to explore and have a play with colour and techniques, you’ll be guided step by step to create two atmospheric paintings with a seascape theme. You'll explore some fantastic and fun techniques (cling film, wax resist, salt and spatter) as well as practising more traditional washes and wet on wet painting. Your paintings will be based on the beautiful North York Moors coastal villages of Robin Hoods Bay and Sandsend.
