🦞FREE Locals weekend🦞

💙As a thank you to the local community, residents with a YO21 or YO22 postcode can visit the Marine Discovery Centre for FREE on the 14th-15th of March!💙

We have plenty planned for the weekend including fresh bakes from @crumbandgetit, art raffle of Larry the Lobster curated by @thefafforyofwhitby, tombola supported by local shops and businesses, and FREE raffle tickets for a @coop hamper. If that’s not enough to convince you to come on over, there will be plenty of our incredible staff/volunteers to tell you all about our native species in the tanks, including our 40 year old lobster Melvin, alongside the vital conservation work we carry out at the Whitby Lobster Hatchery!

We can’t wait to welcome you at the Marine Discovery Centre but please make sure to bring proof of address, whether it be a driving licence, recent utility bill etc.
