From the team that brought you Treasure Island comes this lively production, touring throughout August 2025.

The musical's storyline offers a unique twist on Hugh Lofting's beloved characters. Each animal – from Jip the loyal dog to Polynesia the wise parrot, Gub-Gub the curious pig to the lesser spotted Pushmi-Pullyu – takes centre stage to tell their story of origin, transformation, and triumph. Audiences of all ages will be swept up in the journey as the animals reveal how Doctor Dolittle saved them from various hardships and misunderstandings, ultimately finding a place where they are safe, valued and, most importantly, understood.

Scarborough Theatre Company is dedicated to creating storytelling that educates, entertains, and uplifts along with providing opportunities for training and early career professionals on and around the Yorkshire Coast.
