21st Annual Walk for Suicide Awareness

Join us on September 7, 2025 to participate in our 21st Annual Walk for Suicide Awareness.

Suicide loss is complex, painful and overwhelming. Distress Centre Durham has always been committed to supporting survivors of suicide loss and foster a community of connection and coping, through our Suicide Survivor Initiatives.

The walk is an opportunity to come together as a community and support one another through these difficult experiences. It is also a chance to commemorate and honour the lives of loved ones lost to suicide.

The walk also assists in raising awareness for suicide and suicide prevention. All donations raised will go directly to the Suicide Survivors Initiatives.
