WSPA 2025 Locals Lottery

The snow is melting, the birds are singing, and the Spruce Grove fields are looking fresh, which can only mean one thing... BALL IS BACK, BABY!

The Whistler Slo Pitch Association is excited to be kicking off this season with the best Local's Lottery Tournament seen in years! Back by popular demand, 8 teams will face off against each other in this one-day tournament designed to dust off the cobwebs and get the juices flowing before we start the regular season.

With local DJs setting the mood for some epic showdowns on the diamonds, grab a hotdog and snacks from the concession stand while waiting for your next at bat in the dugout! If you're looking to quench your thirst with something a little harder, the fine folks at Nester's Liquor Store will be serving some cold ones in the beer garden. And we're not done yet... all participants will receive a free team shirt to keep. Will your team rise to the top to take home the glory of being crowned this year's Local's Lottery Champions? Or perhaps you're vying for individual glory, as we're bringing back the Homerun Derby!

Registration is 100% FREE for all participants (must be 16 years or older), and all levels of experience are welcome. Never played slo pitch softball before? Well here's your chance to experience Whistler's best summer team sport while making new connections with both long term locals and those new to town looking to get involved in the community. Spaces are limited. Registrations close 11:59pm Friday May 23, 2025.
