Meet the Maker – Nici Christina

Come and meet Nici Christina at the Heritage Centre for another of our ‘Meet the Maker’ events.

Nici is a contemporary mixed media artist and illustrator. She lives in the North East of England with her husband and their two small children where they enjoy the charm and serenity of Northumberland’s beautiful countryside and ragged coastlines.

Nici’s work is heavily influenced by the natural world and deep-rooted heritage of folk art. Each of her artworks tells its own story, blending age-old symbolism with a contemporary touch to create a striking narrative.

A selection of Nici’s work is available to purchase for a short 2-week period in our shop from 16th May, or directly from her on the Meet the Maker Day (Saturday 31st May 10am – 4pm), where you can browse, purchase or commission a bespoke artwork.
