Paint it Black (dragon) One-Shot Workshop

In this 3-hour hands-on workshop, participants will bring a fearsome tabletop encounter to life by painting a custom black dragon miniature. Each attendee will receive a unique encounter card featuring Velkrith the Fetid Whisper, a corrupted dragon terrorizing the forgotten village of Blackmire Hollow. Whether you're new to miniature painting or a seasoned hobbyist, this class offers an immersive way to unleash your creativity and enhance your tabletop experience.

Every participant will be provided with a high-quality black dragon miniature that matches the encounter narrative, along with a printed one-shot scenario card detailing the lair, plot hooks, and special mechanics tied to Velkrith. All painting supplies—including Vallejo paints, a variety of brushes, and other materials—will be available for use during the workshop.

The session includes instruction on techniques such as basecoating, drybrushing, and highlighting, designed to help bring out the fine details of Velkrith’s scaled form. While guidance will be offered, participants are encouraged to interpret and personalize their dragon however they see fit—acid-worn wings, molten eyes, or bone-pitted horns are all fair game.

This workshop is ideal for tabletop gamers looking to add a custom villain to their campaign, miniature painters of all skill levels, or anyone excited to dive into a creative, thematic experience.
